RELAUNCH of Studio Føys Lunde

Studio Føy’s Lunde has flown on – and into Ygg&Lyng’s collection.
First noticed as a design that felt deeply at home with us, it soon became clear that Lunde carried the essence of what we value: timeless presence, natural references, and a quiet poetry that enriches everyday life. We are glad it found its way to us.
Lunde is a series of cream jugs and sauce boats, inspired by the puffins nesting along Norway’s wild coastline. Each piece is carefully refined through many processes before leaving the nest to find its place in a new home. It follows the flow of everyday moments – the morning coffee, the Sunday dinner – or rests patiently until it is brought back into use.

Like in nature, Lunde feels complete in a flock. Different sizes and colors create a vibrant expression on the table, equally beautiful as decoration or in daily use. It can also bring a subtle touch of nature indoors, perhaps with a handful of seasonal wildflowers.
A Lunde can be part of countless meals, memories, and shared occasions for many years to come – with the same strength and presence that makes it timeless.

About Studio Føy
Studio Føy is an Oslo-based design studio founded by Guro Sørbø Midtun and Siri Line. They create long-lasting products that combine playful storytelling with thoughtful choices in materials and production—objects designed to be used and cherished for years.
Their collaboration began while studying Product Design at OsloMet, where a group project revealed a unique creative dynamic. Since then, every step—from bachelor and master’s theses to professional projects—has been rooted in playfulness, curiosity, and a shared belief that design should foster emotional connections.
Studio Føy’s design process often begins with a story. Their products are functional objects enriched with character and meaning—like the Lunde cream jug and sauce boat, inspired by the puffin’s distinctive personality. Each piece is designed to adapt, invite affection, and grow with the user over time, extending its life cycle and supporting sustainability.
Since their debut at Stockholm Furniture Fair in 2017, Studio Føy has presented work internationally, received awards such as Newcomer of the Year by Bo Bedre, and collaborated with brands like Warm Nordic and WowDsgn. Today, they continue to create timeless products for established design brands—always with playfulness at the core of their process.
