Why we return to solid oak

For a time, sourcing high-quality oak proved challenging, leading us to transition from solid wood to veneer in the V-series and the T-table. Veneer remains an excellent alternative, offering remarkable stability and predictability, particularly in climates with fluctuating temperatures and humidity.

Still solid wood holds a special place in our hearts. It is an organic, living material with a unique, natural beauty. Part of its charm lies in its ability to tell a story over time—subtle cracks and variations may appear with shifts in temperature and environmental conditions, adding to its character and authenticity.

To further celebrate its natural appeal, we have transitioned from Woca to Rubio treatment, enhancing the wood’s texture and providing a finish that feels authentic and refined.
