Studio Føys Lunde has found its way into Ygg&Lyng’s collection. The series of cream jugs and sauce boats is inspired by the puffins nesting along Norway’s wild coastline. Each Lunde is carefully shaped through many stages before it “takes flight” to become part of a new home. It follows the small moments of everyday life – the morning coffee, the Sunday dinner – or rests quietly until it’s brought back into use. Like in nature, Lunde feels complete in a flock; different sizes and colors create a lively expression on the table, equally beautiful as decoration or in daily use. With a subtle touch of nature, it can also hold a handful of seasonal wildflowers. Lunde is made to accompany many meals and memories – with timeless strength and presence.
