The story of Non dining table
The story of Non dining table startet with the problem of finding a small, functional table to accompany the Non dining chair. Simple and scandinavian, with inspiration from nature and organic shapes, the chair is timeless yet has its own, distinctive look.
The solution for designer Elin Louise Sveen, and the rest of the ygg&lyng design studio, was to develop a serie of tables to match the chair. Soft edges, rounded shapes in table top/seat and coned legs are design elements the two have in common. The result is a light and natural dining table, without any unnecessary ornaments or decoration, simply ment for everyday use.

«Non» is an old norwegian term for a meal, usually eaten in the middle of the day. The name reflects the routine of the meal itself, but also the social aspect of eating together.
Allowing the solid oak to play the leading role, the Non serie reflects the natural beauty, timelessness and functionality that is characteristic of nordic design. Non table comes in two sizes: 70×70 cm and 120×70 cm, and is available in several colours of solid oak.
